November 15th, 2009To Japan n Beyond !

Okla, in contrary to my title, i’m not going anywhere else besides Osaka in Japan. Just a short update on my trip here so far. Hehe

.

.

Osaka is a damn nice city *jakun*. Being here for my first time, it was a culture shock a good experience to be exposed to the diverse culture, not to mention fashion style of the fellow Osaka-ians. If Tokyo was a much busier and hectic city compared to Osaka, i dare not think of how busy yet organized the Japs here would be. According to EVo, even the taxi windscreen is so damn clean, I think even the birds will feel ‘pai seh’ to drop their ‘bombs’ on the car.

Oh, i got myself the EF 50mm f1.4 lens before i came here, woah the bokeh-ness is damn kao, definitely recommend it over the f1.8 anytime.

Even the Japs are really sporting ppl. They asked me to snap them when they saw me carrying the camera.

Probably it was one of their marketing gimmicks to try sell whatever they were selling LOL

We also stopped by Starbucks for a drink before dinner. Ahh, it never fails to set in the Christmas spirit everytime i enter their door,

September 19th, 2009First.

In more ways than one, here is what the title means:

This is not eG. To be more specific, it’s Joy here and this is the first time I am crashing his blog. I have had access to it for a while now, but never did anything simply because I didn’t know what or how or why I should even post anything here, considering I already have my own blog (which I try so hard to update at least once a week). Come to think of it, all I was doing was deleting spam comments and I guess that made me the blog’s cleaning lady O_o

But, here is the reason why today is different. For the first time, I had a bouquet of flowers set in my hand that was (almost) heavy enough to break it. Sent by none other than the guy who is currently in China, who may be so far away, yet he definitely made his presence felt in my house during my pre-graduation party last night.

Joy, as it should be.

I may not be one for flowers usually, but which girl can truly admit that getting a bouquet is not one of the cheesiest, yet, most heart warming gestures a guy can do for her? Especially when he is 3714.88 kilometers from where she is. (Yes, I calculated: Distance between Wuxi, China and Selangor, Malaysia)

So, to make it a pretty three, here’s another first. On top of being the first (female?) outsider *cough* to post here, and have a first time experience receiving my favourite flowers from an order placed in China (Oh, the wonders of the internet), this will be the first time I will attempt a partially password protected post.

I guess, sometimes some things just need to be private ;)

Until next time (whenever that will be), cheers!
